Either you are or you aren't, and if you aren't, you have probably convinced yourself that you are. There have been lots of people who come saying "I didn't know what I was doing, I'd like to disappate" or something to that effect.

Having a tulpa is a much more mundane experience than you seem to be perceiving it as.
Nothing we haven't already said will quell these fears or reservations you are having. I recommend you begin if you like, and stop if you do not like the direction it's heading.

Or decide that it's not worth it, or you don't really care enough, and forget about it. Fretting over it will bring only stress.
Personally, i gave it a years thought before i started work on making a tulpa. If you're overwhelmed by the concept and need some time to sort things out, there's nothing wrong with that either. I agree that stressing over it won't help, but calm reflection on yourself, your situation, and other factors is a good thing in terms of deciding to tulpa or not
I mean I also ended up with like auditorh hallucinations just a couple days ago and the sound of my fan was just completely blocked out which shocked me right out of it
4:22 AM
Then again I do typically meditate an hour before bed so that may have something to do with it
Oh it's not. First time I just got caught up in thinking about a song I liked and somehow managed to hear it, second time I just had a sudden urge to pick up my phone while meditating because it didn't seem like I was doing a very good job at it and my back started to hurt and I got so caught up in it that I simply imwgined picking it up. It wasn't like a full on visual hallucination, moreso something similar to that one time I experienced hypnagogia
hello ^^ i really want to be able to do visual imposition. i'm going to read all the guides i can find, but has anyone here got personal experiences with this and could give me some pointers? or just share some experiences?
Hi. Can I turn myself into a tulpa?
Lumi (our host) is basically a tulpa at this exact moment 'cus I'm switched and fronting
11:57 PM
but he's still host and I'm still tulpa
11:57 PM
'cus yeah those are more origin terms
11:58 PM
unless the host basically gives up fronting forever and is just a tulpa who never fronts, aaand formally relinquishes that title to their tup who accepts it, then maybe the tulpa could be called the new host
11:58 PM
@Tulpabug are you the "host" in your system yet or is your host still the host even if she never fronts(edited)
11:59 PM
you and Apollo are the most fronting-est tulpas I know... aside from me ??
I think "host" and "tulpa" are exclusively terms of origin. But, as with all words, they only exist to serve our purposes. I guess you could also use them as Lucilyn suggests, to distinguish between who spends a great majority of the time in front.
well it's not even majority, I'm pretty sure Tulpa still considers his host his host even if he spends all the time fronting, not even just majority(edited)
12:05 AM
a host giving up their title as host is like total resignation from interacting with the physical life
12:05 AM
that's permaswitching and besides being kinda taboo we never really hear about it
there are some people in other multiple communities that aren't tulpamancy focused that use host interchangably with primary fronter (person who fronts the most) but some use it to refer to whoever was there first regardless of any swithcing temporary or permanent it really depends on who you're talking to(edited)
It's probably a good idea to continue keeping the host as "the host," since it's their body in the first place regardless if they aren't fronting as often as other tulpas. Sure they can essentially become tulpas due to how active they are, but it doesn't mean they were forced and became sentient.

(hope that makes sense, successfully stayed up for 24 hours to fix the sleep and we were woken up abruptly moments ago)
